Stripe Connect, not Stripe-pretend

Apron Desk doesn't sit between you and your customer's money. You connect your own Stripe account (Standard). Payments hit your bank directly. We watch the webhook to update the event's paid status, but we never hold funds. (We use Stripe ourselves to bill the $425/mo subscription — that's a separate flow.)

QuickBooks both ways

Push invoices and payments to QBO automatically. Pull QBO's transactions back. When the two ledgers diverge — which they will, because real life — Apron Desk shows you exactly which row is in which place so you can reconcile in minutes, not hours.

REST API + outbound webhooks

If you have a developer, here's the door: documented REST API at /api/v1, authenticated via per-workspace API keys minted in /settings/api. Outbound webhooks fire on event.created / payment.received / lead.created etc., HMAC-signed and retried on failure — push events to your accounting tool, Slack, Zapier, or whatever you use.

Maître spans every integration without you wiring it

Need to know if a Stripe payment landed? Ask. Need to push a contact to Mailchimp? Ask. Need to flag QuickBooks discrepancies before your accountant does? Ask. The integrations are wired; Maître knows how to talk to all of them.
