Your browser transcribes locally (for free). Only the short transcript is sent to Claude for parsing — typically a few hundred tokens per note. Total marginal cost: well under a penny each.
The parser is tuned for the way caterers actually talk on the floor. It handles deltas ('twelve more'), catalog aliasing ('the chicken' → maps to 'Chicken Piccata'), and status narration (ignored — not every sentence needs an action).
